I've noticed I sneeze quite often, especially when my tongue reaches new areas. It seems there are specific spots that, when touched, cause this sneeze reaction.

After a few days, the sensation sneeze response, as my neurons learn this is a 'false alarm' I suppose. There isn't actually a piece of pollen in my nose.

I was just curious if I am unique in this sneezing effect. It does have the downside of also causing a runny nose, which slows my practice.

I would agree this is very normal. What you wrote perfectly matches my experiences.

Sometimes there is a very clear sneeze reaction, as you mentioned, but other times these spots can also stimulate an uddiyana type of effect – which I consider to be very auspicious!

One hundred percent normal.

I have also experienced another strange effect a few times, where one of my ears can feel a 'tickle' when my tongue is in certain spots in stage 3.

Also very rarely, but I do recall shedding a few tears a couple of times as a stimulus response (not emotional). I think that was in stage 4.
